Asparagus officinalis

A perennial vegetable with graceful feathery green foliage. Seed grown asparagus will produce well after 3 years, allowing time for the crown to form. Each crown will produce 20cm thick succulent spears. This long lasting plant will continue producing for about 15 years.

One of the larger pumpkins, and an old favourite with bluish-grey, smooth, deeply ribbed skin and a full flavoured golden orange flesh. Weighing 5-7kg, this is an excellent storing variety.
