Strawberry & Chocolate Hazelnut Quesadillas

Decadent strawberries and chocolate – a marriage made in heaven, and perfect with strawberries from our Strawberries Galore range

Ingredients

8 mini flour tortillas

1/3 cup melted chocolate

1 tablespoon hazelnuts crushed

250g Sweetie, Pinkie and Blondie strawberries, hulled, sliced

1 small banana, sliced

Icing sugar mixture, to serve

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C/140°C fan-forced. Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Preheat a sandwich press.
  2. Mix the crushed hazelnuts into the melted chocolate.
  3. Spread each tortilla with 2 teaspoons chocolate hazelnut mixture. Top 4 tortillas with strawberry, banana and remaining tortillas.
  4. Place 2 tortilla stacks in sandwich press. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until golden and heated through. Transfer to prepared tray. Place in oven to keep warm. Repeat with remaining stacks. Dust with sugar. Serve.
