← Part of Sweet Taste, Fruits

Thought to be a hybrid between a dewberry and blackberry, Loganberry produces large, aromatic, red-purple 3cm berries with a sharp distinctive flavour. Harvest fruit every 4-5 days. Berries can be enjoyed fresh, lightly poached, frozen, or used in pies, jam and desserts. Loganberry is good for maintaining good general health and losing weight.

Care: Trim back new spring shoots to around 20-30cm to encourage branching. The resulting canes will be thinner and more numerous, making them easier to train on wires next season.
