Bougainvillea Vera Pink produces masses of large coloured bracts in dense clusters of pink. Leaves are slightly larger, darker green coloured and characterised by its compact and upright growth habit; moderate to rapid growth rate and thornless stems.
The bracts are stronger and won’t drop easily and stems are thornless. Plants are deciduous under 12 degrees celsius. Full sun with afternoon shade is best and they are extremely drought tolerant. Prune back and fertilise heavily after bloom. Bracts will bloom on new growth. The bougainvillea blooms sporadically in the late Spring/Summer through to Autumn, but may bloom through the Winter in some states with mild weather.
