Pohlmans Cauliflower Early Wonder produces pure white medium to large 10-15 cm heads. Low in fat, high in dietary fibre, cauliflower also contains anitoxidants which help to prevent cancer. Protect the curd from direct sunlight (preventing yellow discolouratuon) by breaking outside leaves inwards over the curd. Use steamed, in stir fires, salads, and with a chess sauce topping.
Care: These tasty vegetables prefer well drained soils and should be fed regularly during the growing season. Cut when tight and solid, do not wait until soft and fuzzy.
