Pohlmans Gourmet Vegetables® Flower Sprout Purple is a cross between a brussels sprouts and a kale. A small cabbage rosette with reddish purple leaves with a mild, sweet, nutty flavour, Flower Sprouts can be eaten raw or sauteed, steamed, blanched, roasted and grilled. Harvest while sprouts are still small and tender by twisting off from bottom of the stalk working upwards.


Ideally, plant into a garden bed which is fertile, enriched in organic matter, and well drained. Mulching is recommended to help conserve water.
