What is grey water, and is it suitable to use on my garden?
Grey water is household wastewater usually obtained after use of household utilities such as the shower, bath, laundry, kitchen sink and hand basins. As it contains germs and bacteria from our bodies, it’s fine to use on flowers and other foliage but we suggest you avoid using it on any fruit or vegetables, as you will likely be re-ingesting these bacteria once the plants are harvested.
