I'm never quite sure how often to water my vegetables. Can you water too much?
Most plants need an inch or so of water per week. This varies depending on wind speeds, humidity, rainfall; temperature and soil consistency so there’s no exact hard and fast rule you can apply to all situations. The best way to monitor your gardens water intake it so measure how dry the soil feels approximately two inches into the ground. If it’s moist, it should be fine. If not, you should rehydrate the soil or risk stunting growth or losing some crops. Some veggies need more water than others. Veges that need more water can be planted together and veges that need less water planted together.
