Concentric rings of red and white flesh make this a visual delight as well as being very nutritional, containing the antioxidant betalain as well as vitamins C and B (including folate).
Care: Best when grown quickly, so liquid fertilise regularly. Roots will be ready to harvest in about 8-10 weeks. Pull out alternate beets to allow room for the remaining ones to grow.
