This fruit can be eaten fresh, roasted, pickled or added into hot dishes to add that extra spicy flavour. A prolific producer that is high in Vitamin C and returns excellent harvesting yields. When ripe, the jalapeno can be 5-9 cm long and is almost always sold while still green.
